It was remarkable for both the staff and Management of HFDN to see the first part of this great vision accomplished! On 16 May 2025, Health Focus Diagnostics Nigeria, in collaboration with the Enugu State Ministry of Health, will host a scientific symposium on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Featuring speakers from the Federal and State Ministries of Health as well as the University of Nigeria Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Nsukka, the symposium will examine the growing threat of AMR in both human and animal health. The event aims to raise awareness, promote the responsible use of antimicrobials, and highlight the critical role of accurate diagnostics in enabling targeted treatment and reducing inappropriate antimicrobial use. Starting at 2 pm, the symposium will take place at the Health Focus Diagnostics Nigeria Conference Hall, located at 23B Umunano Street, Independence Layout, Enugu.
